Action Guidelines

The House Foods Group has established specific “Action Guidelines” as described below, in the spirit of the “House Foods Group’s CSR Policy.”

  1. 1. For Our Customers

    1. We will act with integrity and from our customers’ perspective.
    2. We will ensure the safety of our customers first and foremost.
    3. We will listen to the voice of our customers and continue to develop and improve products and services based on it.
    4. We will provide accurate and easy-to-understand information in order to respond to the trust of our customers.
    5. We will take every possible measure to prevent accidents and troubles associated with the quality and safety of our products and services. In case of an accident or trouble, we will address it in a sincere and prompt manner.
  2. 2. For Our Business Partners

    1. We will conduct honest and fair business transactions and maintain transparent relationships with each and every business partner.
    2. We will refrain from engaging in unreasonable business practices and treat our business partners in a sincere and equitable manner.
    3. We will abstain from seeking personal gains such as the receipt of benefits or favors in the course of our business activities.
    4. We will act in accordance with sound business practices and social common sense with respect to entertainment and exchange of gifts with our business partners.
  3. 3. For Our Shareholders and Investors

    1. We will disclose to our shareholders and investors all information to be disclosed, in addition to reliable and useful corporate data in a timely and appropriate way.
    2. We will not engage in insider trading using undisclosed information concerning House Foods Group companies or business partners obtained in the course of business operations.
    3. We will aim to enhance our corporate value and achieve continuous growth through the accurate and efficient operation of our corporate governance and internal control systems.
    4. We will strictly control and appropriately use both tangible and intangible company assets and corporate information, including intellectual property, in accordance with internal rules.
    5. We will strictly control confidential and personal information held by the Company and will not inappropriately or unfairly use, disclose, or leak such information, not only during our employment but also after retirement.
  4. 4. For Society

    1. We will refrain from engaging in any illegal activities, seeking profits through unfair means, being involved in any opaque behaviors that lack transparency to society, or conducting any acts that could undermine the Company’s credibility or reputation.
    2. We will not engage in the improper exploitation or infringement of the rights and possessions of third parties, including intellectual property, and are committed to showing the utmost respect to them.
    3. We will abstain from illegally accessing or obtaining third party confidential information.
    4. As part of our corporate ethical mission, we will take a firm stand against antisocial forces and groups that threaten the order and safety of civil society, and will completely disassociate from them.
    5. With the aim of solving social issues, we will engage in social contribution activities not only through our business activities, but also by cooperating with our stakeholders as a good corporate citizen.
    6. As a member of the international community, we will fully understand and comply with the laws and regulations of the countries concerned, as well as international rules. At the same time, we will actively communicate with local communities, respect human rights, culture, traditions, and customs, and maintain and promote friendly relationships with local communities.
  5. 5. For Colleagues

    1. We will respect the diversity, personality, individuality, and privacy of individuals as well as respect for fundamental human rights.
    2. We will not tolerate any discriminatory treatment, abuse, or any other form of harassment based on unjustifiable grounds such as birth, nationality, ethnicity, race, creed, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, various disabilities, hobbies, or educational background.
    3. We will create a safe, healthy, and comfortable work environment by respecting each other’s individuality and values. We will also strive to foster a vibrant and rewarding work culture that promotes mutual enlightenment.
  6. 6. For the Earth

    1. We will strive to save energy and resources, reduce and recycle waste, and reduce emissions of global warming substances and other contaminants in all our business activities including procurement, production, distribution, and sales, and promote pollution prevention.
    2. We will endeavor to develop environmentally conscious products at every stage from raw material procurement to consumption.
    3. We will comply with environmental laws and establish self-imposed standards for our business activities.
    4. We will continuously improve our environmental activities by setting environmental targets and periodically reviewing them.
    5. We will raise environmental awareness through environmental education and actively engage in environmental activities.
    6. We will disclose necessary environmental information internally and externally.
